Inspired by Hathor, the Ancient Egyptian Goddess of Love, Music and Joy ; the headdress also draws inspiration from the goddess Anuket – patron deity of the Nile wearing a crown of reeds and ostrich feathers; and the claw-torso from the jewelry of Princess Khnumit (12th dynasty).
